Born in Lima, Peru, to parents of Japanese and Peruvian descent, she has a fascinating upbringing that has influenced her in becoming the person she is today. Her family immigrated to the United States, and she shares an immigrant's appreciation for this country. It's the belief that regardless of where you're born, what class you're born into, one can attain their version of success in a society where upward mobility is possible for everyone. "The American Dream is achieved through sacrifice, risk-taking, and hard work, rather than by chance."
Being a self-starter and having an entrepreneurial spirit, she's had a career in accounting but later found herself appraising Diamonds and Fine Watches. That lead her to become a Pawn Broker (Second-Hand Dealer), just as you would imagine seeing on History Channel's hit TV show, "Pawn Stars."
In 2015 she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She took time away from her work and focused on her health. As they say, "When God closes one door, He opens another." She realized if she could survive "The Big C," she can pursue anything. Ada Patricia had a passion for real estate at a young age and always encouraged others to own property. It was then she decided it's time to pursue the next chapter of her career. She received her California Real Estate license and now helps others achieve their dream of homeownership.
Her achievements show there's nothing Ada Patricia will not due for her Clients. A recent example is her success in certifying a Townhouse Community to become an FHA Approved complex. She successfully worked with the HOA Committee and navigated them through the process of submitting their applications to The Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program for approval. The process took months of commitment, patience, and perseverance, which eventually paid off. Her Clients were able to purchase the Townhome from the Sellers using an FHA Loan. Most Realtors would have given up and moved on to the next property. Her success leads to future sales for that Townhome Community for buyers using FHA financing and new prospects of buyers beyond conventional funding.
