Adele Conrad has considered the Wood River Valley ‘home’ for as long as she can remember. In fact, her husband and their German Shorthaired Pointer now live on the same street where she learned to ride a bike at a young age while visiting her aunt every summer.
The memories, her family history, the community and all that Sun Valley has to offer is what makes this place so incredibly special to her. Her stepfather, the late Bill Innes, owned the second residential home ever built in Sun Valley in 1952 on West Lake Drive. He was active for these decades in entertainment and community affairs. He was elected to the Sun Valley City Council, appointed to the Moritz Community Hospital Board, Sun Valley Planning and Zoning Commission, and served as the Sun Valley Fire Chief responsible for the development and implementation of the local joint ambulance/paramedic project. Adele hopes to carry out the Innes’ legacy and give back to the community she loves so much.
An Alabama native, Adele decided to move to Sun Valley when she was 16 years old and attended Wood River High School. After graduating, she attended and graduated from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Even though Adele migrated back south, she knew one day she would be back home in Sun Valley. She and her husband, Liston married early October 2018 at St. Thomas Church in Sun Valley. They are avid hikers, love to fly fish, snow ski and any excuse to be outdoors with their dog River. Adele is enthusiastic to meet her clients’ needs in finding them a home in ‘the best place on earth.
