Local Real Estate Expertise with a Global Reach: Engel & Völkers

It’s impossible to achieve an executive position at a Fortune 500 company—by your 30th birthday, no less—without excelling at organizational skills, professionalism and measurable productivity. Dan Hammer possesses such characteristics and capacity in spades, and now he’s applying them to the Treasure Coast real-estate market.

Dan Hammer arrives at Engel & Völkers Stuart with the resume of a leadership juggernaut. His management experience, financial-operational expertise and emphasis on strategic execution led major public and private corporations through periods of significant growth and success. Fluent in the customs and ethos of international business from his years working in Europe and Asia, Dan complements Engel & Völkers Stuart’s global capabilities and commitment to marketing local properties to potential buyers around the world.

Dan arrives to Engel & Völkers Stuart complete with his better-half. His wife, Shelly—also a member of the Hammer Group—brings a high-level marketing background to the shop. Both graduates of Michigan State University and parents of three adult children (two of whom graduated from MSU), the Hammers have lived around the country yet maintained close ties to the Treasure Coast for more than 30 years.

“We fell in love with Stuart the first time we visited back in 1980 and we’ve returned to stay nearly every year since,” says Dan. “Now we’re excited to call this wonderful community our home full-time, and we’re even more excited about helping others either relocate within the Treasure Coast area—or discover what a perfect little paradise this is for retiring, raising a family and just savoring the good life.”
