You probably recognize Lisa’s smiling face from spending the first 16 years of her life in Idaho behind the counter operating a local coffee house. After life’s ever-changing path, she and her daughter, Frankie, moved to Boise for two years, where Lisa started her own business. They found themselves terribly homesick and decided to move back to the Wood River Valley to once again be surrounded by beautiful mountains, clean air and the kind, warm embraces of this community. Lisa started doing property management, finding a niche for herself managing 65 condominiums, a subdivision north of ketchum, eight private homes and working for ARCH-affordable housing managing inspections and tenant changes. After two years of encouraging nudges from Kenny / Bogue to get her Real Estate license, Lisa decided to go for it and went to Real Estate school. She is grateful and proud to call Engel and Volkers “home”.
Lisa was born and raised in the state of New York, in a tiny farming hamlet, nestled within the beautiful rolling hills of the Catskill Mountains with a population of 158. She moved to New York city when she was just 19 and called it home for eleven years. She is known for her funny humor and loves making people laugh. She did some stand-up comedy, so be prepared to have a few laughs along the way! She made her living as a model and a corporate flight attendant on private jets, which brought her to Sun Valley for several consecutive years with the Allen and Company. It was love at first sight and she vowed to someday live here. She made her dream come true and moved from the Big Apple to the Wood River Valley in 1999, which was a bit shell shocking for the first few months, but she immediately melded back into her small town, outdoorsy roots.
When she’s not busy building her Real Estate business, and taking care of beautiful homes throughout the Valley, you might find her with her ever smiling Pomeranian, Roxy, and her Fiancé, John, a Headquarters Captain with the Idaho State Police, and Commander of the Idaho State Police SWAT team. For fun, Lisa enjoys snowshoeing at Galena, hiking to the tops of mountains, riding horses, dirt biking, snowmobiling, camping, jumping off the Rock at Redfish Lake, or cooking at private venues.
Lisa is a true people person. She is known for her strong work ethic, being friendly, funny, happy go lucky and a true pleaser. There’s no job too dirty for her! If needed, she will show up with her chain saw and dump trailer to trim your trees. Growing up in a small farming town, she learned to work hard at a very young age and takes pride doing so.
