Local Real Estate Expertise with a Global Reach: Engel & Völkers

A second generation real estate agent, Lynn Zeid inherited a love of real estate from her father. After purchasing and selling real estate as personal investments for nearly 20 years, Lynn Zeid decided to become a Realtor-a profession whom many friends predicted she would excel quickly. Ascending quickly, Lynn rose to Top Producer within three short years by her proven results working with both buyers and sellers and strives for each client's transaction to be as seamless as possible.

Lynn has been a resident of Houston for more than 39 years and currently lives in West University. "I'm an Inner Loop enthusiast-I love all the different 'flavors' found within the loop!" she says. Skilled at networking, conflict resolution and negotiation, she loves helping families find the ideal homes for their needs and budgets. She's attuned to utilizing social media to market properties-a tool many Realtors often overlook. Lynn acquired her Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE™) designation in 2012 and received her Master Certified Negotiation Expert (MCNE™) in April 2014, (a designation fewer than 500 real estate agents have earned in North America.) As an accredited member of the Institute of Luxury Home Marketing by earning the esteemed CLHMS designation, Lynn has demonstrated success in both buying and selling in the top 10% of the Houston luxury market.

A graduate of the University of Houston with a B.A. in Public Relations and Communications, Lynn worked for 14 years as a development director for nonprofits-including Contemporary Arts Museum, Houston Ballet-as well as for RITE, a division of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™. Her former career taught her the importance of "putting the right people together to obtain a common objective." She says, "I'm incredibly proud of the growth of the non-profits I had the honor to work with for so many years. Knowing I played a role in each organizations’ progress and success is a wonderful feeling."

Lynn has two daughters, ages 14 and 13 that attended West University Elementary and are currently attending Lanier Middle School. "I love showing the world to my girls and, in turn, seeing it through their eyes." Involved with local philanthropy, she supports area non-profits through donations made in honor of her past clients. Past organizations include; Child Advocates, Citizens for Animal Protection, Habitat for Humanity, Houston Ballet Foundation, Houston Hospice and SPCA, as well with Houston Ballet. As a former ballet dancer, Houston Ballet is near and dear to her heart. Lynn is proud to serve as Raffle Chairman for the Houston Ballet's Nutcracker Market since 2012. "Getting to meet so many people both through work and through my volunteering is so rewarding. I am truly blessed to live in this wonderful city."
