Local Real Estate Expertise with a Global Reach: Engel & Völkers

"Even a gorgeous property can remain a mystery or sell for too little if it’s not masterfully marketed", says Shelly Hammer of Engel & Völkers Stuart.

Shelly Hammer joins Engel & Völkers Stuart with an array of experience in marketing for major corporate clients, where she honed the fine art of listening and understanding people’s needs and ensuring her high levels of customer service anticipate and address their concerns.

“It’s extremely important to me to be as knowledgeable as possible and provide the best service I can,” says Shelly. “I know how I prefer to be treated when doing business with someone—and that’s with respect, attentiveness and frankly, as their No. 1 priority—so that’s what I aim to provide.”

A member of the Hammer Group, Shelly and husband, Dan, have three adult children and have lived in Chicago, Manhattan, Connecticut and Atlanta. Even still, they’ve visited Stuart nearly every year since 1980 and recently realized a long-held dream by making the Treasure Coast their home year-around.

Raised in a real-estate family in Michigan, Shelly—who, like her husband and two of their children graduated from Michigan State University—resided in Traverse City and Birmingham, where she learned her lifelong love of golf. She brings a keen understanding of the unique nuisances and ever-evolving appeal of golfing communities, including ways younger families can integrate the benefits of such communities into their busy schedules.

Shelly is member of the Women’s Council of REALTORS®, affiliated with the Kappa Alpha Theta Alumni Association, and volunteers in the community as an active member of the Women’s Club of Stuart.
