At Engel & Völkers Annapolis , we believe that successful client service is achieved by being the best possible partner and mentor to our advisors. Every E&V Annapolis company meeting begins with renewing our organization’s commitment to “constant improvement” in four main areas: client service, professionalism, personal growth, and community support. Our commitment to client service means that we constantly comb the market for cutting edge technology, marketing methods and financing solutions to assure the best possible result for our clients. We don’t believe that an advisor’s ability to pay for a marketing budget should determine the right marketing budget for the sale of their client’s home. To ensure we spend wisely on our clients’ listings, E&V advances all marketing expenses typically paid by advisors and agrees on an appropriate marketing plan for every listing. Our commitment to professionalism is exemplified by compensation plans that incentive advisors to complete 200% of the Maryland state continuing education requirements. We believe this results in a more committed sales professional with a more significant knowledge base working to sell your home, expeditiously, at optimal value. Client review meetings are designed to amplify each advisor’s individual strengths, review any specific support needed from the brokerage and agree on a plan to provide the best client experience possible. Our charitable matching program encourages advisors to give back to the community they serve. Finally, we believe in keeping things simple and straightforward. In the real estate business, advisors are generally compensated on an agreed upon portion of the sales price. Advisors typically don’t receive a commission if a home doesn’t sell. While we enthusiastically expect every client’s listing to sell quickly, we understand that, for various reasons, sometimes a listing doesn’t get to the closing table. As a broker, we believe in sharing our advisors’ expenses in the same way we share in their profits – whether a transaction closes or not. Simple, straightforward and fair. In the end, we believe that happy and empowered advisors lead to happy and prosperous clients.
