A Home for the Holidays

December 22, 2021

Looking for a change of pace? A holiday home can provide you with a space separate from your primary residence where you can relax and recharge. It’s also a great investment for those who work remotely.

“Purchasing a holiday property is always about personal preferences. When choosing a location, many of our clients often opt for their favourite holiday destination…increasingly looking to locations abroad. ”

Sven Odia
CEO of Engel & Völkers AG

As remote working expands the radius between our private and working lives, many buyers interested in vacation properties are looking at destinations far from their current homes. For those in colder climates, this may mean buying a vacation property in a tropical location. Urban dwellers may be drawn to homes with more space, privacy, and seclusion. Some luxury buyers even look for properties unique to their interests, like skiing or golf. Regardless of the reason behind purchasing a holiday or second home, they are most often chosen for their unique amenities and location.

Here are just a few of Engel & Völkers listings that would make the perfect holiday home.
