Engel & Völkers Americas Promotes Peter Ianos to Chief Experience Officer

Luxury real estate company aligns itself for strategic growth and optimal support

Engel & Völkers Americas announced today that Peter Ianos has been named chief experience officer (CXO). In this role, he will oversee the real estate network’s talent attraction and retention initiatives, brokerage performance programs and the professional education offerings that are provided to its network through Engel & Völkers Academy.

“Peter has been an essential part of our organization for the last decade,” said Anthony Hitt, president & CEO, Engel & Völkers Americas. “From leading brokerage services and expansion strategies to, most recently, taking on a chief of staff role, his passion for this brand and our network will now lend itself to leading the overall Engel & Völkers experience for our license partners, shop administrators and advisors throughout the Americas.”

This appointment comes as the company looks to refine the way it provides targeted support, education and coaching for its network members. 

“During shifts in our industry is when our advisors and brokerage leaders need the most support from their brand,” said Ianos. “To lead this endeavor with an incredible team is a very exciting opportunity.”

With its Americas operations headquartered in Manhattan, Engel & Völkers Americas has onboarded 21 new corporate employees since the beginning of the year, accounting for a 12.5% increase in headcount and plans to increase the size of its corporate staff by another 13% by end of year, specifically in the areas of technology, finance, operations and marketing.
