Global real estate brand expands presence in Louisiana with a fifth shop opening in the state
Engel & Völkers today announced its expansion into Baton Rouge, LA, under the leadership of license partner and managing broker Amanda Parfait, a successful real estate professional serving the south Louisiana market since 1991. Parfait founded her brokerage, GoldCrest Realty Group, in early 2019. Now doing business as Engel & Völkers Baton Rouge, Parfait and her seasoned team of real estate advisors specializing in residential real estate, new construction development, and multifamily property management, will service home buyers, sellers and developers in the markets of Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Zachary, Denham Springs, Central, Walker, Prairieville, Gonzales and Geismar.
“Home to more than 800,000 residents, Baton Rouge and its suburbs make up the second-largest real estate market in the state of Louisiana,” said Anthony Hitt, president and CEO, Engel & Völkers Americas. “With existing Engel & Völkers shop locations in Slidell, New Orleans and Lafayette, entering the Baton Rouge market marks an important milestone in our expansion plans and further establishing the brand in this region. Amanda and her team possess the deep local knowledge that is essential to navigating Baton Rouge’s distinct real estate market and understanding clients’ needs, as well as the industry expertise, level of professionalism and attention to detail that differentiates the Engel & Völkers real estate experience.”
Located at the Mall of Louisiana, Engel & Völkers Baton Rouge, serves a marketplace with inventory that ranges from historic plantations and rural luxury estates to new construction developments––a diversity of properties reflective of the rich local culture. Baton Rouge’s local economy is driven by major colleges and universities, including LSU and Southern University, as well as the petrochemical industry, with giants like Exxon-Mobil headquartered in the area. Major international corporations with a presence in or around Baton Rouge, such as IBM, draw international buyers from across Asia, Russia, and Italy.
“Engel & Völkers offers unparalleled support, resources, and digital platforms, in addition to having established a top reputation among luxury buyers and sellers,” said Parfait. “The brand exudes elegance and international cachet that is well-suited for reaching higher-end clientele, and will also help attract top talent in the region. Engel & Völkers brings an enthusiasm for maintaining high-quality service that matches our own standards. We’re excited to see what we can do in the region as part of such a well-respected network, and I am especially looking forward to working with our fellow Engel & Völkers team members in Slidell, New Orleans, and Lafayette. The synergy that will result from our growing presence in the state will elevate the real estate experience for buyers, sellers, and agents across Louisiana.”
