The global luxury real estate brand opens its newest location in the growing Northeast Ohio market

Engel & Völkers announced today its newest shop location opening in Cleveland, OH, led by license partners Inna and Gary Muravin. Inna Muravin, who serves as managing broker, brings over 18 years of real estate experience to this leadership role and since 2016 has led the nationally ranked Distinct Home Group team with Keller Williams Greater Metropolitan. Gary Muravin served as director of operations for District Home Group, and prior to working in real estate, founded and led a multimillion-dollar technology startup company. As part of Engel & Völkers, the Muravins and their team of real estate professionals and administrative staff will expand their residential home buying and selling services throughout the Northeast Ohio region with a plan to open four shop locations in the next six years.

“Cleveland is one of the top 50 real estate markets in the country,” said Anthony Hitt, president and CEO, Engel & Völkers Americas. “There are many affordable investment and growth opportunities for development, sale and rental properties in this market, which have resulted in some of the best long-term returns in the United States over the last ten years. As the region continues to grow, the time is right for Engel & Völkers to enter the market under the leadership of Inna and Gary, who share our commitment to client service and bring an unparalleled level of local expertise to residents of the Greater Cleveland area.”

The Engel & Völkers Cleveland shop will be located in Landerwood Plaza, in the heart of Pepper Pike. The company is actively serving markets across Northeast Ohio including Cuyahoga, Summit, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark, Ashtabula, Carroll, Columbiana, Coshocton, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson, Mahoning, Muskingum, Trumbull, Tuscarawas and Wayne counties. As Cleveland has evolved from a manufacturing hub to a major medical and biomedical center, residents are drawn to the area for its relatively low cost of living and abundant education and job opportunities. It is among the top 10 job markets for new college graduates and is home to 27 colleges and universities, 400 bioscience companies and four professional sports teams. Seventy percent of Fortune 500 companies have a presence in Cleveland, and Zillow recently ranked the city as the second-hottest real estate market in the US for 2023.

“Northeast Ohio has something for everyone, offering economically and architecturally diverse properties throughout the region,” said Gary Muravin. “From affordable bungalows and ranches to sprawling manors and everything in between, including lakefront estates, city lofts and townhomes, wooded hideaways, horse properties, modern masterpieces, century homes, and more. Now as part of Engel & Völkers, we look forward to introducing a new standard of personalized luxury service across all price points in the market.”

“Over the last decade, much of real estate has become very transactional and fast-paced, focused on the sale with little regard for quality and experience,” added Inna Muravin. “Consumer attitudes today are shifting back towards a desire for superior customer service. We strongly believe in providing clients with an elevated real estate experience, and Engel & Völkers’ mission, anchored by its core values of competency, exclusivity and passion, resonated greatly with our team. We want to bring these values together with some of the best real estate professionals in Northeast Ohio and change the status quo to provide the best quality of service not only to the consumer but also to those who work in the industry. Furthermore, the Engel & Völkers shop concept is what our market needs–a comfortable, open, inviting, and collaborative space to attract and bring together the best advisors, leadership, industry partners and most importantly, clients.”
