Expansion into Colorado’s capital city marks the 8th shop location in the state for the global real estate brand
Engel & Völkers today announced its entrance into the Denver market. Ion Real Estate will now do business as Engel & Völkers Denver and will continue to be led by license partner Jim Cavoto, a top Denver real estate professional who founded and managed the successful operations and growth of the local brokerage for more than 10 years. Overseeing the new shop alongside Cavoto will be J. Steven Opp, a top-producing real estate advisor specializing in investment properties as well as new advisor development. Cavoto and his brokerage of more than 40 advisors serve home buyers and sellers across the Denver metro area, from Castle Rock to Longmont, including Boulder.
“Denver is continually rated as one of the best places to live in the country and is a strong addition to our existing Colorado presence,” said Anthony Hitt, president and CEO, Engel & Völkers Americas. “As one of the most competitive and increasingly international housing markets in the U.S., Engel & Völkers found an ideal partner with Jim and his team of real estate advisors. With unmatched local market expertise, a relationship-based approach to real estate and commitment to continual professional development to create true real estate leaders, Engel & Völkers Denver will undoubtedly bring the highest levels of client experience to Denver and its surrounding areas.”
Nestled at the base of the Rocky Mountains, Denver boasts 300 days of sunshine a year as well as some of the best skiing, snowboarding, hiking, fishing and camping in the world. Engel & Völkers Denver is located in the heart of downtown’s ballpark district, servicing a diverse range of clients drawn to the area for its outdoor lifestyle offerings, thriving performance arts community, seven professional sports teams and notable food and nightlife scene. Denver also continues to attract international buyers coming from other top ski destinations, such as the Alps and the Andes, looking to experience Rocky Mountain skiing.
“Engel & Völkers introduces a new standard of service to Denver’s evolving market,” said Cavoto. “As the city attracts a growing population from around the country and even the world, home buyers and sellers here have come to expect a certain level of quality and personalized attention.
