New shops in Santa Rosa, San Anselmo, and Mill Valley make for a total of eight new shop locations opened by the global real estate brand in Northern California this year
Engel & Völkers today announced three new shop openings in Santa Rosa, San Anselmo, and Mill Valley, adding a total of eight new real estate shops and more than 80 real estate advisors to the brand’s Northern California presence year-to-date. This substantial growth is part of a strategy designed to serve the distinct communities that make up California’s North Bay and renowned Wine Country. These shops have opened under the leadership of Paul Benson, who is the license partner and owner of more than 28 Engel & Völkers locations throughout Utah, California, and Nevada.
“Our growth in Northern California can be attributed to the true ethos of the Engel & Völkers brand, which lies in passionate, local experts serving the neighborhoods in which they themselves live, work and play,” said Benson. “From Santa Rosa to Napa to Mill Valley, Northern California is comprised of many interconnected yet unique communities. Each area has its own personality and charm, and requires real estate professionals with specific expertise and market knowledge to best serve clients looking to buy or sell within them. As part of the Engel & Völkers network, every real estate advisor is empowered with the tools, reach and reputation of a brand recognized around the world for its commitment to upholding the highest standards of client service and expertise.”
Engel & Völkers Santa Rosa will be led by Gayle and Jerry Boren, along with Mike Muters, who is the Northern California General Manager. The Borens, who have successfully grown the Healdsburg shop for the past year, will now be expanding their efforts to serve the remainder of Sonoma County. The Napa Valley shops located in Napa and St. Helena will be led by Stefan Jezycki and Will Densberger respectively. Engel & Völkers San Anselmo will be led by Monica Yazbek, who has been managing the Sausalito shop for the past year, will also be the acting manager of all Marin County’s shops.
Engel & Völkers Mill Valley opens under the management of Joshua Szarek’s along with his team, The ECHHHO Group (Every Creative Head Heart and Hand Occupied). Joshua has recently joined Engel & Völkers from Compass and will be also managing the new Cow Hollow shop on Union Street in San Francisco.
“We’re absolutely thrilled with the brand’s expansion in California,” said Anthony Hitt, president and CEO, Engel & Völkers Americas. “Paul’s leadership and talent for forging connections and delivering on our brand promise is undeniable. At a time in the industry when so many agents and clients simply feel like a number or cog in the system, we’re proud to be building a global brand of local experts that differentiates itself based on serving clients in their communities, understanding what it means to live there, relating to their lifestyles, and in turn, delivering an unmatched experience.”
