Global real estate brand continues Americas expansion with new location in Oklahoma City
Engel & Völkers today announced the opening of its first real estate shop in the state of Oklahoma. Engel & Völkers Oklahoma City will be led by license partners Joy Baresel and Sierra Snowden, who will also serve as managing broker. A grand opening event was held at the new shop last Thursday, May 30 to celebrate the opening. Baresel and Snowden bring with them a team of real estate professionals bound together by a passion for Oklahoma City real estate and a commitment to guiding clients through the home buying and selling process with acute attention to detail. Engel & Völkers Oklahoma City will service the Greater Oklahoma City market, including Edmond, Norman, Nichols Hills and the surrounding rural communities.
“Oklahoma City is in the midst of a renaissance, the consequences of which will reverberate for decades to come,” said Anthony Hitt, president and CEO, Engel & Völkers Americas. “Last year it ranked as the most livable city in America based on factors like equal opportunity, arts and culture and innovative economic development strategies, and this year was ranked among the top 25 cities in the country for millennial job seekers as well as among the top five cities with the youngest entrepreneurs. As Oklahoma City stands at this exciting precipice of growth and development, the time is right for Engel & Völkers to enter the market, and we look forward to serving the community for years to come under the leadership of Joy and Sierra.”
Engel & Völkers Oklahoma City is located in the city’s bustling Midtown District, a hub for business, dining and entertainment, and services home buyers and sellers who are drawn to the area for the warmth and conviviality of its residents as well as the variety of lifestyles, neighborhoods and homes the city has to offer, from historic mansions, to sky-high penthouses and everything in between. Oklahoma City also boasts a number of innovation districts that have attracted an influx of entrepreneurs to the area, joining the growing number of Fortune 1000 companies that also call the area home.
Notably, Engel & Völkers Oklahoma City recently secured the exclusive listing rights to The Elliot Midtown, Oklahoma’s first luxury mid-rise with full concierge services.
“Right now, Oklahoma City and the surrounding areas offer an excellent opportunity for a luxury-home lifestyle at an excellent value,” said Baresel. “Even with rampant growth and development, the way of life here is still easy and laid back. Lots of sunshine, easy winters, low crime, little traffic and a burgeoning arts and culture scene, plus amazing home values, make Oklahoma City a worthy and desirable place to live.”
“We believe that the presence of Engel & Völkers in Oklahoma City will elevate the area’s entire real estate market,” added Snowden. “Clients here deserve the highest level of service, excellence and luxury on a global scale that Engel & Völkers is uniquely qualified to deliver. As individual real estate professionals, we strive to deliver the very best client experience each and every time. Bringing Engel & Völkers to our market along with the tools, marketing materials and global recognition that the brand offers will boost our capabilities in doing so even further.”
