Real Estate Advisor
I am a New Orleans boy, a product of my incredible city, touched by all of her virtues, vices, and exuberance.
Like most kids, aircraft were a fascination for me. This interest was sparked by the fact that my dad and two of his brothers had flown in World War II. Flying was my job for 34 years – as if you could call anything that much fun a job! The first five years were in the military, the rest were with an airline.
I took an early retirement from the airline to be able to devote time to writing. I have had eight of my novels published.
In order to stay busy and live life to the fullest, I renewed the real estate contacts my dad and I had accumulated when he made a post retirement foray into the real estate business.
I have been doing this for over fifteen years and have made new friends, learned a tremendous amount about real estate as well as observing client personalities.
One charitable board on which I serve developed three awesome social outreaches, a tuition free school for at risk children, a training program to help children who have made a couple of wrong turns in life to learn the skills necessary for entry level jobs in the hospitality industry, and a program to provide help for the homeless to lead them into permanent housing.
When I count my blessings, right at the top of the list is an eighth grade Christmas party where I met Yvonne, the woman I would marry. She gave us three children who provided nine grandchildren. Translated into Latin, that reads Deo Gratias.
